Welcome to the admissions process for Providence Classical Academy of Bossier City. In addition to completing the application, a personal interview with the headmaster and testing for all students are required. The goal of Providence Classical Academy’s Admissions Process is to bring together a cohesive student body which is supportive of our school mission and which can grow together spiritually, intellectually, and physically. The headmaster and board consider each applicant’s academic potential, scholastic motivation, character, and extracurricular interests. We evaluate with the best interests of the students and also of the school in mind.



STEPS TO ADMISSION (K4-3rd Grade)

  • READ (Required prior to parent interview) Providence Classical Academy strongly encourages BOTH parents to read the Dorothy Sayers’ article “The Lost Tools of Learning” before a parent interview will be scheduled. You may obtain a copy of this article from the school office or from the school’s website. (www.pcabossier.org)
  • COMPLETE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION >Fill out an application(Incomplete applications will not be processed.) Complete the Application for Admission and return to the school office with the following: (Note: Applications received after the deadline will be processed according to class openings.)
    • $350 Application Fee (non-refundable)
    • SMART Enrollment Form
    • Copy of student’s birth certificate
    • Copy of student’s social security card
    • Copy of student’s immunization records
    • Copy of report card (if applicable)
    • Copy of any special testing for reading, speech, or learning difficulties (if applicable)
  • SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW WITH THE HEADMASTER (Note: All parents of applicants must schedule an interview with the headmaster. This can occur before or after turning in the application.)
  • SCHEDULE TESTING
    After receipt of a completed Application for Admission, you will be contacted to arrange a testing date for your student. Students applying are tested at the school by one of the classroom teachers.
  • RECIEVE NOTIFICATION
    Notification letters will be mailed upon completion of the admissions process.
